This processing is essential for fulfilling our contract with you. We collect the following types of personal data when you use our app:

1.1 Information You Provide
To create meaningful connections, it is essential for you to share some basic information about yourself, including your profile details and the types of people you are interested in meeting. Additionally, using our service will generate data, such as your login times and how you interact with the platform.

1.1.1 Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, phone number, gender, date of birth, and profile photos.

1.1.2 Profile Information: When you complete your profile, you share additional details about you, such as your gender, interests, preferences, job, education, approximate location, and other personal details to enhance your profile. The personal information you provide, such as religion, race, ethnicity, and biometric data - facial image, used for identification, along with any other information you choose to share while using our Services (such as your political views, health, and sexual orientation), will be classified as special category personal data. This type of data is subject to additional protections under data protection law.

1.1.3 Content Photos and Media: When you use our service, you may post photos, videos, audio, text to your profile, we collect and store them.

1.1.4 Messages and Interactions: We collect the content of your messages and interactions with other users within the app.

1.1.5 Purchase Data: When you make a purchase, we store information about the transaction, such as the items purchased, the date, and the price. The exact details we collect vary based on your payment method. If you pay directly with us rather than through a platform like iOS or Android, you'll need to provide your debit or credit card number or other financial details. These details will be processed by Stripe payment gateway.

1.1.6 Customer Support Data: When you reach out to us, you share information that may be essential for us to assist with your enquiry. Additionally, others may submit questions or reports that involve you.

1.1.7 Research Data: We will occasionally conduct:
(i) surveys, focus groups, or market studies for research and
(ii) promotions, events, or contests for marketing.
When you decide to participate, you provide us with the information needed to process your entry and participation, along with your responses to our questions and any feedback you offer.

1.1.8 Biometric Data: This is provided for identification purposes. To ensure you are a real person and to protect against fraud and abuse. Our third-party verification provider will use facial recognition technology against your Passport or Driving License. Once you have been successfully verified a Blue Tick will appear against your profile.

1.1.9 SingleAP will have access to the results of the verification process. We may use this process and the related information to confirm your identity and safeguard against fraud and misrepresentation. We will not utilise, share, or store your biometric information for any other commercial purposes. Verification Provider processes this information on our behalf strictly in accordance with our contractual agreements. 2. Information Collected Automatically

Usage Data: We collect information on how you use the app, such as your interactions with other users, profile views, and matches.

Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access the app, such as:

  • Your IP address
  • Device type
  • Operating system
  • Browser plug-in types and version
  • App crashes
  • Internet service provider
  • Your login information
  • Time zone setting
  • Preferred language and unique device identifiers.

Location Data: With your consent, we collect and process location data to enhance your experience by suggesting matches near you.

Consent (if legally required). When consent is not mandated by law, we rely on our legitimate interests to analyse how users interact with our Services and to develop and promote our business.

We will retain all data if there is an ongoing issue, claim, or dispute that necessitates keeping the relevant information until it is fully resolved.

We are required to retain certain data as proof of our compliance with relevant laws.

11Children’s Privacy - Age Restriction

Our app is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from someone under the age of 18, we will delete that information.
